Cancer kids in Disney trip with CCUC

26 young cancer patients and their families from across Northern Ireland who are currently receiving treatment for cancer at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children are currently on a once in a lifetime Christmas trip to Euro Disney Paris. 

The travelling party which includes medical staff, departed Belfast on Wednesday, on a trip organised by the Children's Cancer Unit Charity.

The group will be in Paris for two days of festive fun and will meet and greet Disney characters at breakfast on Thursday morning. 

The trip is supported by a number of businesses including the Armagh City Hotel, Oasis Travel, Richmond Travel, Simplicity Group and Mudbuster.
A number of families and individuals have also supported the trip. 

Speaking just before departure Jacqueline Wilksonson from the Charity said, 

"Since we have been planning the trip the kids have been so excited. We are delighted to be able to provide this opportunity which will help make really special memories for the children and their families. The Charity is indebted to all our supporters particularly from the business community, who have helped to make this happen."
